Who we are

Information we collect

  • Contact details you provide through our enquiry form: name, email address, phone number, project location, project type, budget band, and the message you send.
  • Information you share with us during a project: site addresses, design and construction documents, invoices, and correspondence.
  • Limited technical information that your browser shares automatically when you visit the site, including IP address and basic device information.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible project.
  • To deliver a project once we have signed a contract with you, including managing timelines, costs, and statutory obligations.
  • To meet our legal duties under construction, health and safety, accounting, and tax legislation.
  • To keep this website secure and to understand how it is used at an aggregate level.

Legal bases we rely on

We rely on the lawful bases set out in Article 6 of UK GDPR: your consent when you submit an enquiry, the performance of a contract when you appoint us, our legitimate interests in running a small building business, and our legal obligations under UK law.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information to anyone. We share information only with the people who need it to do the work, including our employed staff, our trade partners on a project-specific basis, our accountants, our insurers, and statutory bodies where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for two years from the last contact. Project records are kept for twelve years from practical completion, in line with the limitation period for construction contracts under English law. Accounting records are kept for six years after the end of the relevant accounting period.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, to ask us to delete information where we no longer have a lawful basis to keep it, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
